Welcome to Class 4!  

We are delighted to welcome you back for another exciting year and are looking forward to all the learning, challenges and achievements it will bring.

Throughout the year, we will explore a range of exciting topics, develop new skills and work together to become confident, independent learners. This term, our History topic is World War II, where we will learn about this significant period in history and the impact it had on people's lives. In Science, we will be exploring Electricity, carrying out practical investigations and discovering how electrical circuits work.

To help support learning at home, our weekly homework routine is:

• Monday: Science Knowledge Organiser
• Tuesday: English homework
• Wednesday: Maths homework and History Knowledge Organiser
• Friday: Weekly spellings

Please encourage your child to complete their homework each week and to read regularly at home, as both make a significant difference to their progress. 

We are looking forward to a fantastic year in Class 4 and can't wait to celebrate the children's successes along the way.
